Hello Scrapbooking friends! Thank you for joining us for the SpiegelMom Scraps monthly blog hop. You are likely joining my from my best friend, Katty's blog. We are excited for new release sequins packs in the shop and all the fun things we have lined up for December. I am scrappy another fun photo of my boy Doxie, Kobe on his birthday.
I started off with a plaid looking cut file from the Silhouette Design Store on white card stock. I played with a few blue tones of card stock for my background and decided on a mid tone one. I love the contrast and it made my color photo pop.
I then decided to thumb through my dishes and cups and pull a few ephemera pieces from different collections. I tried to stay in a color family and began layering a ton. I added a few camera wood veneer that were also on my desk.
Once I had my placement of photo and embellishment cluster I then began to add my sequins along the plaid lines of the die cut. I used Holiday Traditions and put them in all four corners of my layout.
My title is from a large word collection from Pebbles. It is large, bold gold glittered letters so it pops off my layout. I hope you are enjoying the hop. Next hop over to Rachele's blog for more inspiration. Remember to use my code Evi15 for a discount on your purchases at Spiegelmom Scraps shop.
